We celebrated Jordan's 14th birthday this past month. He actually had two special times to celebrate. We had a big group of friends over for cake and ice cream one evening, then he pretty much got to run the show on his actual birthday. We started the day with breakfast casserole (Jordan's favorite breakfast), then went out to eat lunch at one of the small western style cafes in the city, and finished it off with some of his favorite dinner items --baked beans, wonder salad and chicken. Jordan asked for money for his birthday this year because he has been saving for an 80 gigabyte iPod video. Thanks to his disciplined savings and some birthday money, he was able to order his iPod this past week and it will arrive with some friends from the U.S. at the end of June. He's really excited about that. If you're still not part of the 21st century and don't have a clue what an iPod video is then you can look it up online (just do an internet search for iPod and you'll surely find it). If that's still beyond your expertise then you can take a look at Jordan's birthday cake. It's just like looking at a giant iPod (This cake was designed by the skillful hands of Kim and her friend Sarah).
