Hiking and Boating

Yes, this hiking and boating took place a couple months ago too. I'm a bad blogger, what can I say. The men and sons in our city try to get together once a month for a father-son outing. We, took a two hour hike up to a waterfall that's above one of the villages near our city. It had rained heavily the night before and that morning so the water was rolling over the fall. The boys had a great time. The following month we took a boat ride down the Mekong River. Again the water was high because of rain. Actually the water was too high and had sorta kept us from being able to experience the rapids very much. But we did have a good time splashing one another from boat to boat.
